Schedule for the Real Madrid players away on international duty


NEWS STORY. 21/03/2022 Modrić, Casemiro, Vini Jr, Rodrygo, Militão, Carvajal, Jović, Bale, Valverde, Alaba and Camavinga have been called up. Eleven Real Madrid players have been called up to represent their national teams during the March international break. Carvajal (Spain), Jović (Serbia) and Modrić (Croatia) play two friendlies. Bale (Wales), Valverde (Uruguay), Casemiro, Vini Jr, Rodrygo and Militão (Brazil) and Alaba (Austria) contest qualifiers for the World Cup in Qatar. Camavinga (France U21) is also involved in another European Championship qualifier for his age group. . Spain-Albania (Saturday 26, 7:45pm CET) Spain-Iceland (Tuesday 29, 8:45pm) Carvajal will dispute two friendlies for Spain. The first will see him travel to Barcelona to face Albania at the RCDE Stadium and three days later he will play Iceland at Riazor. Hungary-Serbia (Thursday 24, 7.30pm) Denmark-Serbia (Tuesday 29, 6pm) Jović will play two friendlies for Serbia. The first one sees them travel to Budapest to take on Hungary at Puskás Aréna Park before taking on Denmark at Copenhagen's Parken Stadium. Croatia-Slovenia (Saturday 26, 3pm) Croatia-Bulgaria (Tuesday 29, 4pm) Modrić will play two friendlies for Croatia. First up is a friendly against Slovenia before taking on Bulgaria three days later. Both matches will be played at the Qatar Foundation Stadium in Doha. Wales-Austria (Thursday 24, 8:45pm) Bale has been called up for Wales ahead of their clash with Austria in Cardiff, where both teams are playing to stay in contention for the World Cup. The winners will then play the winner of the postponed Scotland-Ukraine clash. Wales will play a friendly in Cardiff on Tuesday 29 (8:45pm) against either the Czech Republic, Sweden or Scotland. Uruguay-Peru (Friday 25, 12:30am) Chile-Uruguay (Wednesday 30, 1:30am) Valverde's Uruguay have two games as they fight for direct qualification for the 2022 World Cup. First up, they take on Peru at the Centenario stadium in Montevideo then five days later they play Chile at the San Carlos de Apoquindo stadium. Brazil-Chile (Friday 25, 12:30am) Bolivia-Brazil (Wednesday 30, 1:30am) Casemiro, Vini Jr, Rodrygo and Militão have been called up to represent Brazil, who have already qualified mathematically for the World Cup in Qatar. First they will welcome Chile to the Maracana stadium and before traveling to La Paz to take on Bolivia at the Club Deportivo Atletico Morejon. Wales-Austria (Thursday 24, 8:45pm) Alaba's Austria will face Wales as they look to further their hopes of reaching the World Cup in Qatar. The winners will meet the winner of the Scotland-Ukraine clash. The Austrian national team will conclude the break with a friendly in Vienna on Tuesday 29 (8:45pm) against a yet to be confirmed opponent. France U21-Faroe Islands U21 (Thursday 24, 8.45pm) France U21-Northern Ireland U21 (Monday 28, 8.45pm) Camavinga is in action for France Under-21s in another UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifier. Group H leaders France, who have won five games and drawn one, face the Faroe Islands Under-21s in Calais (France). The same venue will host Northern Ireland in a friendly a few days later.
